Payment of a 20% deposit is required to secure a place. With the remaining balance due 8 weeks prior to departure.
This is a unique trip to the southern highlands of Iceland. The central highlands are a desolate and otherworldly area, which is sometimes challenging to traverse. We will be visiting vast black sand deserts, lush green mountains, crater lakes and much more. These are some of the lesser visited areas in Iceland.

DESOLATE Iceland in the southern highlands
Iceland is an amazing place to visit at all times of the year but only in the height of summer can you explore the interior of the island. This adventurous trip will focus on the southern highlands and will bring you to some of the more remote locations in Iceland.
Jeroen Van Nieuwenhove
Jeroen will be joining Nigel on this workshop as a photography guide.
Jeroen Van Nieuwenhove is a Belgian landscape and wildlife photographer. Now a full-blown local, he fell in love with the land of fire and ice in 2012 and eventually moved there in 2016. As an experienced local guide, he developed a great knowledge of the Icelandic Highlands. In 2021, he dedicated 6 months to documenting the most recent eruption in Iceland and even wrote a book about his experiences.

What is included?
This is a 7 night workshop starting from our first hotel in Reykjavík on the evening of Wednesday August 10th 2022.

Transport around Iceland (to locations based on conditions) in 4x4 Toyota land cruisers. Limited to 6 places so 3 attendees per vehicle

Note - Accommodation is included in the price of this workshop but food is not unless otherwise specified.

Outdoor clothing (make sure to have wind- and waterproof clothing)

Improve your photographic skills
I believe that if you want to improve your photography you need to be in the right mindset. I will show you how I take less photos but end up with more keepers and photos to hang on the wall.
